About the Author
JoAnn Jarolmen worked as a school social worker for 27 years in elementary, junior high, and high schools and was a therapist in a school for emotionally disturbed children for 3 years. She has been a visiting professor, adjunct professor, senior lecturer, and assistant professor at a number of colleges and universities, including Columbia University School of Social Work, New York University (Rockland Campus) and Dominican College. Her teaching specialty is in the area of school social work and direct practice. She is the author of When a Family Pet Dies: A Parents’ Guide to Helping their Children with Loss (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, London, England; 2006).

it's very easy to read and understand

As far as textbooks go, it's very easy to read and understand, and I don't fall asleep reading it. However, I ordered the e-book version, which has MANY errors. I purchased it because it was so much cheaper than the physical copy, and for anyone who is in the same boat, just know you will get all of the necessary information. However, that comes at a price of significant grammar errors, repeated paragraphs, and repeated or missing words.
