Wow. I can't put this series down. Jeffery starts his flung with Taylor and sets Mel into jealous rage..lol She was to be his girlfriend and wants to start going on dates. Jeffery doesn't know what to do. This can't be a good thing but he agrees to start dating but they are still not exclusive. And he still finds himself fantasizing about the girl from the smoothie shop. Tammy. With Taylor he knows that it won't ever be more then sex and so does she. That when she thinks of her Sexy young friend that lives below her penthouse apartment. She has an idea to set Jeff and her up. Little did she know they alreAdy knew each other. Taylor sets up a lunch to introduce then but the look in their eyes says they alreAdy do. Her neighbor is Tammy. The one he is fantasizing about it and Tammy wants to meet. There was something in his eyes. They hit it off.what is going to happen to Jeff? This is a crazy triangle.. I cUt wait to see how this ends.

GREAT SERIES, GREAT STORY

I love all these New Zealand books. There is a whole series that tells the story of all of these friends. Each is a stand alone book and can be read without the others. I found it more fun to read in order so I would know the back story on each character that was mentioned in later books.

This is sort of a revisit with Kole and Tasha. She is insecure because of her size. He is a famous photographer and does a lot of work with models In skimpy outfits, etc. so that adds to the insecurity. She can't see why this gorgeous hunk of a guy would really be in love with her. he is and he plans to prove it to her in a very erotic way!! They start off with Skype sex because he is on location. Hold on to your hat because this is one erotic scene. It is between husband and wife but still over the top. He is due home in a few days and he makes promises of what he intends to do to her when he returns. After having this amazing sex she makes a comment that really angers him. So he plans to show her how he feels and to make her see how he sees her. Again, sex to scorch the sheets!

This story is very short and it really takes place in just a few days. There was one motive behind this story and it was to show Tasha how he sees her and to end that insecurity once and for all. Good story. I enjoyed it and like reconnecting with all the other characters from the other stories. I highly recommend the whole Taste series. Good reads. This title is a funny play on words!!

I was inspired to read this after having read Mohaghegh's translations of Ahmad Shamlu's poetry in Born Upon the Dark Spear. I was perpetually dissatisfied with the interpretations offered by Samantha Power (shorthand for Harvard/ Washington/ the Beltway) for the state of the Middle East, and have found this work to be a perfect counterpoint to the polished idiocy of the pundits.

Mohaghegh's book is both more visceral and more erudite than I had hoped for. Writers whom I had never heard of, and whom I doubt have ever been translated before, flense the banal political chatter from the subject to reveal and revel in the raw nerves pulsing beneath. These are living insurgents, poets, mystics, and sectarians; other than Faisal Devji I can think of no one who has taken the time to examine as many primary works before offering his thoughts; one does not want to confused an idea a thing for the thing itself, and this book is a rare product of one who has listened to the voices of radicals before simply denouncing them.
